Wrestle Angels: Survivor 2, management mode

Every event the game can show you, the month it can happen in, and exactly what unlocks it. Read it month by month, or set your New Game options under Year by year to see your own run.

Everything here was read from the game's code and scripts. None of it has been checked by playing yet.

The year

A game year runs April to March: the game starts in April of Year 1 and the year counter goes up every April. Year 1's April has the opening only.

Every year By chance, if you qualify Final Series years only Weather Overseas belt defences, if you hold the belt

In each wrestler's birth month

  • She turns a year older. Age drives her growth phases and the retirement checks.
  • 20th birthday scene at exactly 20, with trust ≥ 800 and affection ≥ 800. Certain if she qualifies. A present costs 10 AP.
  • Rookies debut in their birth month of their debut year (it depends on the era, see Wrestlers). From then on tryouts and scouting can find them.

Year by year

Your New Game settings decide when the Final Series falls and which rookies debut when. Pick a year to open it. Rookie dates assume nobody has signed her yet; rival promotions hold tryouts too, so some go sooner.

Every January also has the Pro Wrestling Awards and contract renewals; they are left out of the grid but listed when you open a year.

Events in any month

The game checks these for each of your wrestlers at the start of every month, before office work. The chance is per month once she meets the conditions. Nothing is checked in the opening month of Year 1.

Pro Wrestling Awards

Every January, before contract renewals; the first is in January of Year 1. Wrestlers from every promotion compete. If nobody qualifies, the award isn't given.

When each wrestler is available

Each wrestler debuts in her birth month of her debut year, and the era shifts everyone: Warring Rivals is 3 years ahead of Dawn of Joshi Pro, Dawn of a New Era 6 years ahead. Tryouts and scouting can find a rookie for 3 years (until 2 years past her starting age, and only under 20). After that she's a free agent until 27, then leaves and comes back as a new rookie 3 years later. Scouting only finds rookies born in the region you visit.

Grade 0 is the best: it scales all training from 130 % down to 80 % at grade 5. Second personas get a random grade (0: 5 %, 1: 10 %, 2: 40 %, 3: 30 %, 4: 15 %). A wrestler listed on a rival's roster starts there only if you included that promotion; otherwise she starts as a free agent. A wrestler's first and second persona can both be in the game at once.

Coaches

  • 7 coaches join a shared hiring pool every April of Years 1, 6, 11, 16, 21, 26 and 31, one per specialty. Unhired coaches leave after 10 years.
  • Your promotion rating limits who you can hire: below 3000 only the 1300-grade coaches; 3000–4999 up to 1400; 5000+ all, including the 1500-grade one.
  • Rival promotions hire from the same pool. Hiring costs 100 AP; your gym level sets how many you can have.

Foreign wrestlers

  • Only through an overseas partnership (Management menu): six overseas promotions with 7 characters each, two personas apiece.
  • Each April the overseas rosters change on an 18-year cycle. In alternate years 6 foreign free agents are offered; they're marked in the year grid.
  • Holding a foreign belt brings a defence request in that belt's month (the gold lane in the year strip). Refusing gets the belt stripped.

In the game files, never shown

These have text or scenes on the disc, but no code ever starts them, plus one event that's broken.

Revolution and Rebel factions
Faction formation, members joining and leaving, the showdown demand and disbanding (scenes 061–063). The invasion menu even has a "can't invade during the showdown" message that is never selected.
Junior belt age limit
The check always says no, so a junior champion is never stripped for her age.
Partner scenes
Practice and tag scenes with each wrestler's best, good and bad partners (Ishikawa and Ryuko, the Murakami twins, Muto and Yuki …). No code plays them.
Smaller leftovers
Tournament entry scene (068), overseas tour departure (058), the "%s went bankrupt" news, and several older invasion and belt messages.
Goods boom (broken)
Meant to pay ×10, but a boom month pays each merch shop a flat token amount (about 0 AP), so it lowers your shop income that month.
